Description:
Ribipack offers the application of an innovative product designed to seal containers by using special plastic films.
The Ribipack sealing process is based on two important technical features:
1) Mechanical cold-fastening onto the container.
2) Perfect airtight sealing.
Seal Characteristics:
The seal consists of a multi-layer plastic film especially designed to allow cold-fastening onto the container.
Fixing
It is based on the technique of pinch-necking of a specific layer applied to the container opening with self-tightening technology, which allows cold-fastening without the need to use glue and/or any welding systems.
The desirable results of this unique procedure are a remarkable speed of application and absolutely no development of secondary products as a consequence of chemical or physical welding/fusion processes, caused by evaporating aromatic solvents and/or combustion of the resins themselves.
Performance
Ribipack films are specially designed for usage in several application fields and vary depending on packaging requirements.
All formulations act as a powerful microbiological and physical barrier to keep away any possible polluting agents.
Special types of barrier films have been developed for damp conditions and oxygen permeability.

Application
The Ribipack seal is applied by special sealing machines produced by Ribipack according to several possible technical specifications, depending on the particular packaging features and on the type of seal most suited for that application.
